Amazing. Emotional. Incredible. Moving. Tender. Beautiful.

Those are just some of the feelings I get as I press that shutter button and capture a moment of time. To me, photographs are more than pictures printed on a piece of paper and framed, hanging on the wall. They tell a story, hold emotions, freeze that tiny, precious bit of time. When we look at photographs, we remember how an infant smelled, how their smooth, soft skin felt. We can hear our child’s giggle and see the twinkles in their eyes. We remember the warmth we felt as we crowded together for a family photo. Photographs keep our babies tiny, our families together, and our lives preserved.

And those are just some of the reasons I became a photographer. Just some.

My name is Kristen and I’m the adoring mama of two gorgeous and amazing children. I knew instantly when my son was born that I could not get enough pictures of him. I have gobs upon gobs, heaps upon heaps of photos. Each one holds a place in my heart and home. The moment my daugther was born, I knew this was going to be my career.
